Costa Maya is a small tourist region in the Mexican region of Quintana Roo, it,s port was rebuilt following the disastrous arrival of Hurricane Dean in 2007, since it,s reconstruction though, it now houses a contemporary tourist shopping mall, at it,s centre are distinct ,swim-up, styled bars, multiple jewellery stores and many stores of small sizes selling souvenirs - though more often than not only open for cruise ship passengers.
