Ponta Mamoli is a beach resort on the south eastern coast of Mozambique. It is is situated on a beautiful natural coastline south of Maputo and north of Kosi Bay. The resort is situated in a sheltered bay and has the Maputo Special Reserve to the west. The warm current of the Indian Ocean keep the tempreture warm, which creates a tropical environment. Ponta Mamoli has a beautiful sandy beachfront and is surrounded by vast tracts of coastal bush. The warm crystal clear waters are perfect for for diving and snorkelling.

There are no formal Taxis available on Ponta Mamoli however, if you want to experience the landscape as the locals do you are recommended to travel by Chapa or for longer trips, they average at around 18MT (R5) per Km. Please take note that breakdowns and delays are common with this mode of transport.
